Donna J. Miller is a counselor in private practice with an emphasis on couples therapy. She is President of Inner Action Training Company in Portland, Oregon. The company specializes in public workshops for couples and individuals and corporate training in the areas of conflict resolution, team-building and negotiating skills.
Donna has a degree in Asian Studies from the University of Hawaii. She taught International Relations and English at the Buddhist University in Saigon during the Vietnam War. Later work included managing an architectural firm in Honolulu and being Financial Director and trainer for a personal growth training company in Eugene, Oregon. She founded Inner Action Training Co. in 1984.
At various times in her life, Donna’s passions have included world travel, Vipassana meditation, midwifery at home births, and Hospice volunteering. Donna’s career mission has been to lead personal growth, conflict resolution and couples workshops, and doing family and couples counseling.
In her inviting, woodsy home, she thrives on growing flowers, hanging out in her hammock waiting for the full moon every month, cooking beautiful, organic meals, petting her beloved kitty, Baba, and connecting with human beings on a deep and meaningful level.
